My Work at Meta

Presentation Design, Newsletter Layouts, LOGOS, & ETc

While working as a contingent worker at Meta via OrangePeople within TechPubs, I did several types of projects. Our team would create mostly internal-facing graphics with the occasional external event. I enjoyed sprucing up presentations and using the power of storytelling to bring these technological themed designs to life. I also worked on logos, playbooks, newsletters, and print. I used a humanistic approach and tried to highlight accessible and diversity initiatives while still retaining a vibrant palette. Below is a compilation of my best work! :)

Logo Design

All of these logos, no matter the specific sub-audience, all serve people within tech. When trying to communicate either a community, leadership, or futuristic-vibe, I made sure that my creations were crisp, clean, and engaging.

Print Banner Designs

I created life-size banners for print for one of the many events highlighting women in technology, or infra. I wanted to highlight many types of women, and create a warm, welcoming vibe all while matching their existing branding.

API’s at BPM Presentation Template

To celebrate their new logo, they requested a new presentation template. I created a pattern from the logo and utilized the color scheme to create a cohesive, clean, and beautiful deck.

Additional Layout Design

Meta was an incredible learning opportunity. I realized how much I enjoyed and excelled at layout design, typography, and following style guides. I was also able to work with a variety of teams that supported leadership, the environment, and diversity. I was presented with the challenge to make design that’s based around technology more fun and engaging, and I’m confident I can do that for any company. Let’s transform the world and make beautiful design together.
