Effective Advertising Essay Booklet
Book Design, Layout Design
I was assigned to design a booklet of an educational essay. My interest in psychology and ethical advertising encouraged me to pick this essay called, “Effective Advertising: Understanding When, How, and Why it Works,” by Gerard J. Tellis. My goal was to utilize high contrast and bright, energetic colors to entice the reader by providing some familiarity with groundbreaking education.

As a designer, I strive to bring meaningful messages to life. I am able to take content and make it more easily approachable for any audience. In this project, I’ve learned how to create structural layouts and systems for large content. I believe in accessibility and making knowledge easy to understand for everyone. By adding vivid colors, relevant imagery, and modern typography, we can help educate the world and help them find joy in learning.
In this noisy world, beautiful design stands out. With all my pieces, my goal is to intrigue the audience and enlighten them with beauty and knowledge.
Conclusion
Through this project, I learned the value of taking plain information and turning it into something joyful, engaging, and beautiful. I highly value education and scholarly articles, and am happy to have practiced making learning fun!
